Village of Orlické Záhoří - Tourist Information Center
Orlické Záhoří is located in the Divoká Orlice valley on the Czech-Polish border, between the mountain ridges of the Orlické and Bystřické mountains at an elevation of 680 - 745 meters above sea level.
The name of the village Orlické Záhoří has been used since 1951 and was created by the merger of the formerly independent villages of Trčkov, Bedřichovka, Zelenka, Jadrná, Černá Voda and Kunštát.
The establishment of the village of Kunštát dates back to 1590-1600,l and is associated with the work of woodmen and glassmakers. The first written record of the village of Kunštát is from 1623, and is associated with a description of the property of Karel of Vlkanov.
In the village there is a road border crossing to Poland for pedestrians, cyclists, cars and buses. The Polish border area offers many opportunities for tourists. The location of the village allows good conditions for hiking, biking, and in winter you can use the ski lifts and cross-country trails. There is a seasonal system of cycle buses and ski buses, which will allow you to easily reach the ridge of the Orlické Mountains. Orlické Záhoří is ideal for family recreation, where you can spend your holiday in a quiet environment and visit many beauty spots in the Orlické Mountains. In the surroundings of the village there are several ski slopes, prepared cross-country trails, accommodation and catering. Agrotourism is also available for horse lovers.
