From Vrchmezí along the border to the Bukačka National Park (910 - 1025 m above sea level), the rest of the former forest of the Orlické Mountains is the most important small-scale specially protected area in the Orlické Mountains. It lies in the ridge of the mountains with an area of 50.73 hectares.
The subject of protection is the remains of a dwarf spruce-beech forest with an admixture of maple, crane and maple. Due to the height of about 1000 m. N .m. here we can see the low, variously twisted bizarre shapes of the trees. Bukačka is also the richest botanical locality in the Eagle Mountains. More than 290 species of rare flora occur on moist to peat meadows, of which 23 are protected and around 60 species of vertebrates.
Detailed information on the occurrence is given in the boards of the "Around the Rain" nature trail. The nature trail measures 15 km and its mission is to acquaint visitors to the Eagle Mountains with the beauties of nature and its protection, as well as with the history of the village of Deštné in the Eagle Mountains and its surroundings.
It is forbidden to enter the stands outside the path of the nature trail.
